The Directorate of Education (DoE) Delhi has started the application process for admission into entry-level classes like – Nursery, kindergarten (KG), and Class 1 for Delhi’s private schools. The application process has been started for the academic session 2022-23 which the last date for application form submission is January 7, 2022, and the admission process will be over on March 31, 2022. The admission authority (DoE) is going to declare the first list on February 4, 2022.
Age limitations
The minimum age for admission in the nursery, KG, and Class 1 has been kept three years while the age of four years or five years has been scheduled for respective classes.
However, Delhi Government has allowed the special instructions for open category admissions despite Economically Weaker Sections, Disadvantaged Groups (EWS/DG), and Children with Special Needs (CwSN) category seats.

Application forms will be available at schools till the last date of registration at a fee of Rs 25. The age relaxation of up to 30 days may be allowed by the head of school in the minimum and upper age limit for admission into these classes.
