JEE Mains 2023 Syllabus: NTA Exam Syllabus Published Today; Know Exam & Paper Pattern

Joint Entrance Examination Main is also identified as JEE Main that is a national – level entrance or competitive exam aimed to evaluate candidate’s eligibility for admission into various programmes.
The JEE Main exam is held once a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) at the respective examination hall.

JEE Mains 2023 Syllabus: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today on December 20 has declared the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2023 exam syllabus on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

So, candidates are notified and also suggested to check and download the JEE Main syllabus through the official website.

Exam & paper Pattern

In the exam, questions will be asked to candidates from three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. These three sections will be for the Bachelor in Engineering (BE) and Bachelor in Technology (BTech) paper.

There will be two papers in the JEE Mains 2023 – paper 1 and paper 2 that will be operated through the Computer-Based mode at the respective exam centres across the India. Paper 1 will be held for admission to undergraduate engineering courses such as  BE and BTech while paper 2 will be conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses across the country. The exam will be held in two sessions January and April.

Marks

In the JEE Mains 2023 exam, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and minus one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. If candidates have not given any answer, no marks will be awarded.  According to the National Education Policy (NEP), the JEE Mains 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

JEE Main 2023 January Session Exam:: Earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducting administering of JEE Main has issued the registration process for the first exam of JEE Main i.e. January session on December 15, 2022. Candidates who have interest to take part in the exam, can complete their registration process through the online mode till January 12, 2023 at the official websitejeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam will be organized for admission into B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Plan/ B.Arch courses. The scores of JEE Mains are considered for admission in top Engineering colleges/ institutions like IITs, CFTIs, NITs, etc.

In order to register of the JEE Main exam, candidates can use the following steps:

  • Go to the official website -jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the link of JEE Main registration session – 1
  • Fill your credential like name, mobile number and email id
  • Login with credentials
  • Upload scanned image, photograph and signature
  • Pay registration fee according to category
  • Verify the all details
  • Press submit tab
  • Download it and take print out for future purpose

During the registration, candidates will also have required the following documents :

  • Candidate’s must cross-verify their JEE Main 2023 application form

Eligibility

Candidates should be passed class 12th from any recognized board or university in 2021, 2022. Class 12th passed before in the year 2021, students are not eligible to appear in the exam.
