JEE Main (third Session) Day 2 exams Begin: The National testing Agency administrative of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main has initiated JEE Main 2021 exam for the third session  today on July 22  in two shifts. The first shift has been scheduled to be held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift will be stared from 3 pm to 6 pm. Today is second day of the JEE Main session 3 exam which had been started from July 20.

This year, at least, 7,09,519 students had registered for the entrance exam with an intention to admission for the BE/BTech courses. The exam will be conducted by the NTA at various exam centres across the country. After completion of the examination, analysis process of the paper will be completed.

Qualified candidates will be eligible to admission for the same in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other National Institutes of Technology (NITs) across the country.

The first two sessions of JEE Main 2021 were held in February and March and the results have already been declared.

Exam pattern

A total of 75 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) will be asked to candidates in JEE Main paper 1 today.

In view of the reduction of exam syllabus by various state and central boards, the NTA has decided to provide internal choice in the question papers.

While there is negative marking for wrong answers in the first section, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers in the second section.

Suggestion

Students are mandatory to carry their JEE Main admit card, unsigned self-declaration form, a photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet, and a photo identification card at the exam venue.
