Updated on January 7, 2023: In 2016, Bihar Government launched an exquisite scheme for the students who were expecting to pursue higher education like Polytechnic<\/a>, B.Tech<\/a>, MBA<\/a> and anything could be but their dreams were about to be buried due to financial crunch. The initiative has an objective to give loans in the name of education loans through banks.<\/p>\n

Bihar Students Credit Card (BSCCS) 2023<\/strong> is applicable for those belonging to Bihar State. However, in order to avail of the benefits of the scheme one has taken admitted or currently doing a diploma, undergraduate, or master programme from a recognized either central or state-level university\/college\/institution.<\/p>\n

The goal of this scheme will be flexible as per the requirement, as many eligible students will be entitled to the benefit of this scheme, and the benefit will be given to the same candidates.<\/p>\n

You must remember that the scheme is not applicable for the student who will take admitted in Bihar but it is also applicable whenever the candidate will take admitted to any other location like Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. For instance, if you join Top Polytechnic college in Delhi<\/a> you can also be eligible to avail of the BSCCS Education Loan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Eligibility for Bihar Students Credit Card Scheme 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Under this scheme, students from Bihar State who have passed 12th standard from Bihar State and Front States and have received higher education and are interested in getting loans for higher education, they can avail education loan through Bihar State Finance Corporation. Will be done! It is mandatory for<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The student has been taken admission for higher education or selected for the admission in the educational institution accredited by Bihar and other states or the relevant regulatory agency of the Central Government.<\/li>\n
  2. This loan can be given for general courses of higher education, and various business and technical courses. The index of the curriculum is marked in Annexure-3, which will be incorporated or deleted from time to time by the Education Department, amending the necessary courses.<\/li>\n
  3. Under this scheme, the 12th or equivalent of 12th equivalent (Polytechnic Course<\/a> 10th) examination from recognized institutions of Bihar State and the border state of border areas of Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal block of border areas of Bihar State. Students from the state of Bihar will get a 10th \/ 12th pass (10th for Polytechnic) from the State Government of Bihar or the Resident of Bihar State.<\/li>\n
  4. In the event of the applicant’s student hostel, the amount will be provided to the educational institution of the applicant! In case of absence of stay in the hostel of the teaching institute, the applicants will be provided at the fixed rate of Annexure-2 for the cost of living in addition to the fees for the students. Living on the basis of inflation and the rate of living can be increased by the education department as necessary.<\/li>\n
  5. The applicant\u2019 age should not be more than 25 years on the date of application for availing this scheme benefits. However, for the prescribed courses of postgraduate level, where the minimum qualification for a nomination qualification is passed, the maximum age for the nomination will be 30 years.<\/li>\n
  6. If the beneficiary student leaves the middle of the study for any reason, the balance of the loan will not be made available to the institution<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Only online applications will be received to avail of the benefits of this BSCCS scheme<\/strong>. Any interested student who passes the 12th class (10th for the Polytechnic course) and can be eligible for this scheme, can dedicate his application through an online website or mobile app.<\/li>\n
    2. First of all, the basic information will be submitted on the Bihar State Education Department of Bihar website by the applicant who will receive one time password (OTP) on their mobile number and e-mail.<\/li>\n
    3. Upon receipt of the applicant the applicant will go to the prescribed account with all original certificates, self-certified copies of all the papers and the hand-held copy of the pdf of the application form, where the applicant’s base will be certified.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
