Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering Kolkata

The well-designed hostel of the Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering College is spread in the area of 31 acres. The hostel has divided into two parts- hostels for boys and hostel for girls. Staff quarters have also arranged in the vicinity of the BUIE campus. Medical facilities are available round the clock along with car facility in case of emergency. Greater impetus is laid towards maintaining hygienic conditions and healthy meals to resident students. A Guest House is also arranged for the accommodation of the guardians and ex-students.

The process of preparing the students for the working environment begins from the first year by providing them exposure by organizing workshops, seminars, industrial visits by a team of professionals in accordance with TEQIP requirements and guidelines .

Vocational and Industrial training  are provided to students regularly for 2nd & 3rd year students through  departmental faculty members who have the best working experience is organized by Training & Placement Cell. A dedicated Industry Institute Collaboration Cell comprising institute members with proven track record in the industry is always in the forefront providing students with much needed soft skills, relevant industry trends and expert technical inputs in constant collaboration with participating partner organizations. 

The T&P Cell provides a launch platform to the final year students by providing end to end services like grooming, counseling, preparing and managing their expectations to instill confidence in them to face the harsh realities of their workplace by assisting to secure entry level job opportunities before they pass out.
