The Jamia Hamdard located at Badarpur Road, Near Batra Hospital, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi was establishment by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed in the year 1989. It was one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. It has got affiliation with University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
