L&T Institute of Technology was established by Larsen and Turbo staff and workmen Welfare trust in 1983. The institute spread over 5000 sq. mts. of the area. The institute is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), recognized by D.T.E and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The government of Maharashtra rated it as 'A' grade institute due to its excellent facilities.
