Eligibility Criteria

Courses	Stream	Eligibility Criteria
Diploma in Engineering	Mechanical, Civil, Computer Engineering, Information Technology	For admission to Diploma in engineering, the candidate shall have passed in the 10th (SSC) examination.
Diploma in Engineering (Lateral Entry)	Mechanical, Civil, Computer Engineering, Information Technology,Automobile, Electrical	A candidate to be eligible for admission to Diploma in engineering –Lateral Entry (Admissions into second year of Diploma Programme) should have passed ITI or Technical school Examination in the relevant discipline
B. Tech	Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology	For admission to B. Tech in engineering, the candidate shall have passed HSC (std.XII, 10+ 2 pattern) in Science Stream with 45% marks for Open ( 40% for SC/ST/SEBC) in theory only or theory and practical with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Technology or Technical Vocation as one of the subject in qualifying examination.
B. Tech (Lateral Entry)	Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology,Automobile, Electrical	A candidate to be eligible for admission to B. Tech Engineering –Lateral Entry (Admissions into second year of B. Tech Programme) should have passed Diploma Engineering Examination, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology by a recognized University.
M. Tech in Engineering	Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Advanced Manufacturing Systems	For admission to M. Tech in engineering, the candidate shall have passed BE/B. Tech examination in the relevant discipline conducted by recognized university.
