Mar Athanasius College of Engineering was established in central Kerala in 1961 and Managed by the Mar Athanasius College Association. It is Government - Aided college, located at College Junction Road, Kothamangalam, Kerala.
The college approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and the first engineering college to get affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University and currently affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
