Quli Qutub Shah Government Polytechnic Hyderabad was founded in the year 1985. It was first started with three branches namely Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake student of 40 each and was situated in a private building at Jahanuma.
Quli Qutub Shah Government Polytechnic is approved by the All India Council For Technical Engineering (AICTE) and affiliated with State Board Technical Education, Telangana.
