Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology, a premier engineering college established in the year1984 properly known as VESIT or V.E.S. Institute of Technology which is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE, situated at Hashu Advani Memorial Complex, Mumbai of Maharashtra state.

Accenture Career Day, L&T Day, Technological lecture series by industry experts also increases Industry institute interaction and CII-Tech connect (Industry Institute Interaction program) conducted by Emerson Network Power and Confederation of Indian Industries in association with International Society of Automation, Maharashtra State Chapter gave students an idea of the skills to survive and excel in competitive environment with the help of technical lectures and management games. The Research & Development culture in the college helped to bag seven hardware R & D projects from Larsen & Toubro, one project with Kotak Mahindra , three projects from IIT Mumbai and two minor research grants from Mumbai University.

The VES Hostel is located in the Hashu Advani Memorial Complex,Chembur. The accommodation is available for boys and girls separately. It is provided on first-come-first -serve basis. The V.E.S. Hostel was donated by Shri Harkishu Bhojraj Chanrai, Smt. Bhagwani Bhojraj Chanrai, Smt. Madhu Bhojraj Chanrai. The Hostel consists of the following committees to ensure the smooth functioning and active involvement of students in the development of the hostel:-
